The most reliable way to find your size is to measure a similar garment that already fits you well and compare those measurements with the product measurements listed on our website.
We recommend comparing jackets with jackets, shirts with shirts, and jeans or trousers with a pair that has a similar fit. Please do not rely only on the size printed on the label, as sizing can vary between brands, fabrics, and fits.
Before You Measure
- Lay the garment flat on a smooth, even surface.
- Button or zip the garment before measuring.
- Smooth out any wrinkles without stretching the fabric.
- Keep the measuring tape straight and level.
- Measure your garment using the same methods shown below.
- All garments are measured by hand. Please allow for a measurement difference of up to 0.8 in (approximately 2 cm).
- Fabric thickness, washing, finishing, and production batches may result in slight variations.
All measurements shown on our product pages are garment measurements, not body measurements.
How to Measure a Jacket
Choose a jacket that fits you well and has a similar style to the one you are considering. Fasten the buttons or zipper and lay it flat.
1. Shoulder
Measure straight across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
2. Chest
Measure straight across the front from armpit to armpit. Keep the jacket flat and do not stretch the fabric.
This is a flat, pit-to-pit measurement.
3. Back Length
Measure from the center back, where the collar meets the body, straight down to the bottom hem.
Do not include the collar in this measurement.
4. Sleeve Length
Measure from the shoulder seam along the outside edge of the sleeve to the end of the cuff.
5. Hem
Measure straight across the bottom of the jacket from one edge to the other.

How to Measure a Shirt
Choose a shirt that fits the way you prefer. Button it completely and lay it face up on a flat surface.
1. Shoulder
Measure straight across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
2. Chest
Measure straight across the shirt from armpit to armpit.
Do not stretch the fabric while measuring.
3. Back Length
Measure from the center back, where the collar meets the shirt, straight down to the bottom hem.
Do not include the collar.
4. Sleeve Length
Measure from the shoulder seam along the outside of the sleeve to the end of the cuff.
5. Collar
Open the collar and lay it flat. Measure from the center of the collar button to the far end of the buttonhole.
6. Hem
Measure straight across the bottom of the shirt from one side to the other.

How to Measure Jeans & Trousers
Choose a pair of jeans or trousers that fits you well through the waist, rise, seat, and legs. For the most accurate comparison, use a pair with a similar fit, such as slim, straight, relaxed, or bootcut.
Button the waistband, close the zipper, and lay the pants face up on a flat surface.
1. Waist
Align the front and back edges of the waistband, then measure straight across from one side to the other.
Do not stretch the waistband. Double this flat measurement to estimate the full waist circumference.
2. Front Rise
Measure from the crotch seam to the top edge of the front waistband.
3. Back Rise
Turn the pants over and measure from the crotch seam to the top edge of the back waistband.
4. Thigh
Measure straight across the leg approximately 1 in below the crotch seam.
5. Knee
Measure straight across the leg approximately 13 in below the crotch seam.
6. Leg Opening
Measure straight across the bottom of the leg opening from one edge to the other.
7. Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam along the inside leg seam to the bottom of the hem.
8. Outseam
Measure from the top of the waistband along the outside of the leg to the bottom of the hem.

Choosing Your Size
Once you have measured a garment that fits you well, compare those measurements with the measurements shown on the individual product page.
We recommend focusing on the following measurements:
- Jackets: shoulder, chest, back length, and sleeve length
- Shirts: shoulder, chest, back length, and sleeve length
- Jeans and trousers: waist, front rise, thigh, leg opening, and inseam
If your measurements fall between two sizes, consider your preferred fit:
- Choose the smaller size for a closer, more fitted look.
- Choose the larger size for a more relaxed fit or extra room for layering.
- For heavyweight denim, jackets, and overshirts, allow enough room for comfortable movement and layering.
Fits may vary between products. A slim fit, straight fit, relaxed fit, and bootcut fit will feel different even when the waist measurement is the same. Always use the actual garment measurements as your main reference.
A Note About Denim
Denim may soften, stretch, or shrink depending on the fabric and washing process. Please check the individual product description for information about one-wash, sanforized, unsanforized, or shrink-to-fit denim.
Any product-specific shrinkage or sizing information should take priority over this general guide.
