· A good guideline is to wash jeans every 5-10 wears or so. If you wear your jeans for activities that cause sweating or heavy use, or if you live in a humid climate, you might need to wash them more frequently. Remember to wash jeans inside out can help preserve the color and minimize fading.

· Even though the jeans have been pre-washed, we recommend cold hand wash and air drying in the shade. Machine washing and sun exposure can cause unwanted fading, fabric distortion, or cracking on the leather patch—changes that are often hard to reverse without ironing. Gentle care helps your jeans age beautifully and develop their own unique character over time.

Dyed by hand using Libo Indigo—an ancient herbal dyeing craft recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage in China.
Each pair is made from raw denim, untouched by factory washing. The deep blue tone comes from natural botanical dyes, not chemicals.

Extremely pleased and surprised with how great these jeans are. When I received the package and I realized they came from china, I was worried because China generally doesn't export many of their higher quality items. However, the packaging was excellent, the fabric is spectacular, the stitching is very cool, and the fit is terrific. I really wish they were American made, I would purchase these at a much higher price point if they were.

Fabric is fantastic

Pants did not match the size chart at all, they run considerably smaller than expected. Also all of the buttons are loose right out of the bag. Poor QC overall. However, the fabric is absolutely gorgeous. Incredibly slubby with a very textured hand-feel and a wonderfully varied shade of indigo. Even though they are unwearable, I will keep them to use the fabric as repair patches for my other jeans. The denim itself is worth it. Construction quality and sizing not so much.

Regarding sizing, our size chart is based on actual garment measurements, while some other brands tend to run larger, which may cause the difference you noticed. For customers who prefer a looser fit, we recommend choosing one size up.

As for the buttons, they are designed to feel slightly loose so they can be opened and closed more easily, but they are firmly secured and not meant to come off.
