The Reason

At RGDenim, our story began not just with selvedge denim, but with a deep appreciation for the timeless heritage of American workwear — where clothing wasn’t a trend, but a trusted companion for everyday life.

Thanks to customers' advices, growing up, we were fascinated not only by the rich texture of selvedge denim, but by how workwear garments were built: designed for durability, utility, and lived-in character. We realized that many modern jeans focus solely on fashion — soft fabrics, stretch fits, or fast trends — but few honor the practical craftsmanship and rugged heart that classic workwear represents.

So we asked:
Can we create durable clothing rooted in heritage, but made for people today?
And that question became the reason we built and improved RGDenim.
