Inspired by the centuries-old Japanese Kasuri (Ikat) weaving technique, this 8oz work shirt is created through a unique process where yarns are individually resist-dyed before weaving.
Unlike printed patterns, Kasuri is formed during the weaving process. The dyed yarns create natural variations, resulting in soft blurred lines, irregular vertical textures, and a one-of-a-kind appearance that gives the fabric its vintage character.
Each shirt carries subtle differences in the pattern — a reminder of the craftsmanship and human touch behind traditional textiles.
This shirt runs smaller than standard U.S. work shirts. We recommend sizing up if you prefer a relaxed fit or plan to wear it as a light layer.
